NHL West Playoffs Teams Set; Seeding still up for Grabs.

NHL West Playoff Teams Set

With the final week and a half ending on the NHL 2016-17 Season, the West Playoff teams have been solidified. Although, their rankings and pairings could be widely different than they stand now. With 3 or 4 games left in the season and the rankings being so close, what we are seeing is a final finish here for home ice advantage, which could be very important later down the road. The teams in the west are so close together points-wise that there are more than a few scenarios that could play out. But here is a look at the final 8 Teams left in the west and the Regular Season games they have left for seeding.

1. Chicago Blackhawks – 3 Games, 108 Points

2. Minnesota North Stars – 3 Games, 102 Points

3. St. Louis Blues – 3 Games, 93 Points
(Islanders 5-2 L, Florida, Carolina, St. Louis)
 
 
4. Nashville Predators – 3 Games, 92 Points

Pacific Division
  
1. Anaheim Ducks – 3 Games, 101 Points
(Calgary 3-1 W, Chicago, Los Angeles)
 
 
2. Edmonton Oilers – 4 Games, 97 Points

3. San Jose Sharks – 3 Games, 97 Points
