Some here at Local Big Time think that this topic/list is "below us" because ESPN does the Espy's anyway in June so what's the point doing our own hybrid list half way through the season? The reason is because we have had some pretty unbelievable finishes in sports in the last six months and the other major reason is because I WRITE WHAT I WANT AND DON"T GIVE A SHIT WHAT MY LITTLE BROTHER THINKS! Haha. So now we have, Mid-Season Espy Nominations god damn it! Here it is:

-New England wins the Super Bowl in Record Comeback Fashion.

-The Cubs win the World Series after longest drought in sports history.

-Cavaliers come back from three down to win the NBA Finals against the greatest record ever.

-Clemson beat Alabama in the final drive of the game.

-Connor McGregor holds two UFC Belts.

-The Williams Sisters take over the Australian Open.

-Villanova beats UNC on buzzer beater three to take the title.

-Federer beats Nadal in epic Men’s Sets down under.

-UConn Women go 100 Straight W’s.

-Amanda Nunes handles Ronda Rousey.
