USA Women's Hockey Makes Deal

The USA Women's Hockey National Team will play this Friday against Canada in the IIHF World Championships. After a long boycott, the Women's team and the USA Committee have come to an agreement for pieces of compensation to be given to women in the team. They still won't be "paid" the sum of money they were asking for, but a number of concessions have been made to help move Women's Hockey into a profitable place. With Women's Rights and Equality at a forefront it seems almost ridiculous the opportunities for children are not the same. USA Hockey has re-dedicated themselves to fund more female based development with the help of this current USA Women's Team. This Friday they will take the ice against arch-rival Canada in Michigan at 7:35. I suggest everyone watch it. Go USA! Beat Canada! #BeBoldForChange
