Delaware Athletes have Secret Weapon: Outback!

The University of Delaware Blue Hen Athletes have a secret weapon and they just exposed it; Outback Steakhouse!

Located in sunny Newark, Delaware, Blue Hen Nation has one of the nicest campuses in the northeast. Delaware is not a college that gets a lot of national coverage, but after the Men's Lacrosse team downed #1 in the Nation Rutgers 13-9, people around the country want to know how they did it. It wasn't the long tradition of pride, or state of the art athletic facilities. It wasn't a legend of a Head Coach, Bob Shillinglaw, who has put in 40 + years of coaching and 350+ wins. It wasn't even popular watering holes like, Grotto's, Kildare's, or even Freddy's. It was OUTBACK!

Outback Steakhouse has been pumping Delaware Athletes full of heartland food for years! And the Men's Lacrosse team has let the cat out of the bag. After their huge win, other NCAA team's have been filling their athletes full of Outback to get that little edge you need to close-out big games.

All joking aside, Outback is pretty great and so is the Delaware Men's Lacrosse Team who is making their way towards another NCAA National Tournament in their Epic Coaches' last season. They have a tough five game stretch to finish the year, but this UD team seems ready to make a statement. Blue Hens Lacrosse will play UMass this Saturday, but all the Delaware sports teams are looking to break into the top tier of their divisions.
